The UW Biodiversity Institute is an organization that works to connect people with biodiversity knowledge in Wyoming and beyond. The Institute’s vision is to foster the understanding, appreciation and conservation of biological diversity through innovative research, education, outreach and by engaging a broad audience in the scientific process. To achieve this, we support research projects conducted by UW students, implement citizen science programs, host movie and concert series, collaborate with educators to design and execute meaningful educational programs, support book publication and outreach, and more.
The Biodiversity Institute is responsible for the vision, educational components and promotion of WyoBio.
